Return Policy

At Dr. Groot, we offer a 30-day return policy. This means you can request a return within 30 days after receiving your order.
After this period, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.


Important Return Conditions

  • Always contact us first before returning any item.

To start a return, please email us at contact@trydrgroot.com and include the following:

  • Your order number and proof of purchase
  • Photos or videos clearly showing the issue (if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect)

Do not send any item back without our prior authorization.
Unauthorized returns will be refused and not refunded.

Returns are only accepted if we determine that the item is damaged, defective, or incorrectly delivered.
If no damage, defect, or delivery error is found, the return will not be accepted.


General Requirements for a Valid Return

To qualify for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • The product must be unused, unopened, and in the same condition as received
  • It must be returned in its original packaging (including any tags, seals, or protective films)
  • You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase
  • Returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery
  • Returns must not be sent directly to the manufacturer
  • All returns must be shipped to the return address provided by our team

Once your return request is approved, we will send you the correct return address and instructions.

Please note:

  • We do not provide prepaid return labels
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately (within 48 hours) at:

Include supporting photos or videos so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.


Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened or used personal care or beauty products
  • Items with broken hygiene seals or tampered packaging
  • Perishable goods (food, flowers, plants, etc.)
  • Custom or personalized items
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
  • Discounted or sale items
  • Gift cards or digital products

If you’re unsure whether your item qualifies, please contact us before sending it back.


Exchanges

Products can only be exchanged if they are received damaged or defective and this has been confirmed by our team.

Otherwise, to receive a different item, please return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order separately.


European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order was shipped within the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification.

To qualify for a refund, the item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging, with proof of purchase included.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
